Board of Commissioners

Plateau Utility District is governed by a Board of Commissioners consisting of five members. In accordance with the requirements of Tennessee Code Annotated 7-82-308, each Commissioner Commissioners must either 1) reside within the district’s boundaries or 2) be a customer of the district. A “Customer” is defined as a person who is regularly billed and pays for a utility service rendered by the district. The current Commissioners and their respective terms are listed below:

  • President – Michael McGrath (Term: June 20, 2015 to June 20, 2019)
  • Secretary – Elizabeth Beard (Term: June 20, 2015 to June 20, 2019)
  • Commissioner – Reagan Williams (Term: June 20, 2016 to June 20, 2020)
  • Commissioner – Carl Jones (Term: June 20, 2016 to June 20, 2020)
  • Commissioner – Albert Lane (Term: June 20, 2014 to June 20, 2022)

The Plateau Utility District Board of Commissioners meets on the second Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. EST at 407 Eliza Street, Wartburg, Tennessee. All meetings of the Board of Commissioners are open to the public.
